This town lies to the south west of Tehran and is a gathering point for pieces from the town itself as well as nearby Lurs, Kurds and Shah Savan weavers. Bold designs are frequently used in the centre panels and colours are strong shades. The kilims and history of Veramin are described in the major textbook ”Kilims — The Complete Guide” from page 230.
