The Ait Arfur Berber group weave distinctive patterns embellished with white cotton on many of their kilims, capes and bags. This is a good example of a large hanbel, or cover, and it was probably used for warmth in the cold mountain winters. It is an old piece in impeccable condition. Ref. 3326.
